this song starts out i was gassing up my viper and travis tritt possibly sings it.

This is a favorite of mine. It took a few minutes in searching to realize you had given the wrong type car. If you had given the right one, I wouldn't have even had to search.
The vehicle is a Frebird. The song is "Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde." It is by Travis Tritt. In fact, I used to live 20 miles from that very truckstop in Johnson City.
