Question
My mother and I are having a debate about the band The Mavericks - she claims to have heard a song by The Mavericks where the word "convertible" is used.
I dont listen to The Mavericks but I have googled it many times, without a result.
Therefore I claim that this song doesnt exist (she remembers it wrong), but she is absolutely certain that she is right.
A dinner is on the line now - can anyone help?

Answer
Hi, Thomas,

I wasn't able to locate a song containing 'convertible' by The Mavericks.  I am including a link to a lyric site that claims to have *all* their lyrics (but don't take that as being 'all' their lyrics).  It is http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/The-Mavericks-Lyrics/A06AC3C1F38CE4194825...

Here's hoping someone's going to have a good appetite when the answer does come through!!!!

I'm the one @ karaoke that usually gets asked, "Who did this song?" or "Do you know a song that goes" and if it's country, I usually can name the song and artist, sometimes give within a couple of years the year of release. I've got a lot of lyrics in my database, as well as friends with working musicians who do open mic jams who have even more extensive databases than I do.
