Question This is an older song sung by a male, I used to listen to it when I was younger and heard it on a classic station recently. I wanted to figure out the title and singer so I could purchase it, but I can't find it anywhere on the search engines. "Wind me up, (something...), and let me cry for you"......not sure if that's exactly the lyrics, but that's what I seem to remember. Any help would be most appreciated!!!
Answer Hi Rebecca! I finally found the song you were looking for! It's called "Wine Me Up" by Faron Young. I've included the lyrics and a link to a video of Faron singing it live below. Also, the first link is to Amazon.com, where I just did a search for Faron Young. "Wine Me Up" is on the album "20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best of Faron Young," if you're looking to buy it. (Amazon is where I usually buy my music online just because you can find some pretty good deals on used merchandise, but that doesn't mean you have to take my advice as an endorsement...) :o) Hope this helps!

Faron Young - "Wine Me Up"
Hey I'm the center of attention in this barroom yeah
I've got a biggest heartache of the year
And each night those swinging doors reach out for me and draw me in
They know each night that I'll come back to wine me up again
[Chorus]
Wine me up turn me on and watch me cry for you yeah
Lately drinking warm red wine is all I want to do
I never know how title I'll wine me up till I walk in
And I don't care I'll be back to wine me up again yeah
[ fiddle ]
I'd like to thank them folks that raised the grapes way out in California
And I'm hoping this will be their biggest year
Yeah scarlet water's all that's left to keep me hanging on
And that's why I'll try to wine me up each day and night next year
[Repeat Chorus]
Wine me up turn me on...
Oh I don't care I'll be back to wine me up again
