I heard a country song on the radio the other day - it was about starting over- I wish that I could remember more, but it was something about letting rain (or something) wash over me and letting it wash away all of the pain/hurt. It was NOT "Let it go" by Tim Mcgraw. It was not about moving on away from the relationship but beginning again in a relationship, about moving forward together after they had hurt one another. I think it is relatively new. Hope you can help - i have been listening to country day and night to hear it again.

Hi Sherry!  I'm not sure if this is the song you're looking for, because it's not really new, but Dierks Bentley's "Come a Little Closer" has the line "I want to touch you like a cleansin' rain And let it wash all the hurt away" in it.  That's the lyric that's been stuck in my head while trying to answer your question, so see what you think!  Hope this helps!
