Country Music/title of a song

Question
I heard a country song on the radio the other day- it was a man singing about his wife and she was dressed up to go out that night. He sang about how she should let her hair down, take her make up off and put a sweatshirt on(not sure about the sweatshirt part). He said that is how he loves her (when she isn't trying to be pretty). I believe it's fairly new but I'm not positive

Answer
Hi Ben!  I just heard this song the other day, and I love it!  It's Joe Nichols' new song, "Gimme That Girl."  I've included the lyrics for you below.  Also, I found a link to an audio file of the song on the CMT website, but when I followed it, it said it wasn't available in my area...whatever that means.  I included it below for you to try.  If that doesn't work, I found a site that gives a review of the song and has a link where you can listen to it.  Hope this helps!

Joe Nichols - "Gimme That Girl"

Hang up that red dress,
let down your hair,
cancel those reservations
don't need to go no where.
As good as your looking right now,
girl bet your thinkin' I'm crazy,
there's a side of you that I wanna see
that never ceases to amaze me.

Gimme that girl with the hair in a mess
sleepy little smile with her head on my chest,
that's the you that i like best,
gimme that girl.
Gimme that girl lovin' up on me,
old t-shirt and a pair of jeans,
that's the you i wanna see,
gimme that girl, gimme that girl.

Gimme the girl that's beautiful,
without a trace of makeup of on,
barefoot in the kitchen,
singing her favorite song.
Dancing around like a fool,
starring in her own little show,
gimme the girl the rest of the world,
ain't lucky enough to know.

Gimme that girl with the hair in a mess
sleepy little smile with her head on my chest,
that's the you that i like best,
gimme that girl.
Gimme that girl lovin' up on me,
old t-shirt and a pair of jeans,
that's the you i wanna see,
gimme that girl, gimme that girl.
(Repeat)

Expertise

I can answer just about any question about lyrics or the artists who recorded the songs--80s and 90s country especially. I don't watch many new videos, but the older the video question, the more likely I am to be able to answer it.

Experience

I've been a country music fan for all of my 20+ years! I somehow have a knack for being able to remember all the words to all the songs (and who sang them for the most part) even though I can't carry a tune to save my life!

Education/Credentials
Juris Doctor. (So if I can't remember an answer off the top of my head, I have the research skills to figure it out!)
