ive been trying to find a song i havent heard for years.its a song about a married couple who are cheating on each other.some of the lyrics are;her heart almost stopped beating when he came back with a toaster, knowing she could never say a thing.the next morning at the office his secretary kissed him and thanked him for the pretty diamond ring.what a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceave,they say theres no such think as a perfect lie
Hi Maxwell! I finally found this song! I don't know if you were still linked to the other question you asked, so I'll answer it again. (Sorry if you're getting multiples of the same answer!) Anyway, the song you're looking for is "A Pretty Diamond Ring" by T.G. Sheppard. I haven't been able to find the lyrics for it anywhere--which explains why searching for it has been so hard--but I was able to find a site the lets you listen to the song. Hope this helps!

I can answer just about any question about lyrics or the artists who recorded the songs--80s and 90s country especially. I don't watch many new videos, but the older the video question, the more likely I am to be able to answer it.

I've been a country music fan for all of my 20+ years! I somehow have a knack for being able to remember all the words to all the songs (and who sang them for the most part) even though I can't carry a tune to save my life!
