About Beth Burgess
Expertise
I can answer just about any question about lyrics or the artists who recorded the songs--80s and 90s country especially. I don't watch many new videos, but the older the video question, the more likely I am to be able to answer it.

Experience
I've been a country music fan for all of my 25 years! I somehow have a knack for being able to remember all the words to all the songs (and who sang them for the most part) even though I can't carry a tune to save my life!

Education/Credentials
I'm currently enrolled in law school (so if I can't remember an answer off the top of my head, I have excellent research skills!)

Question
its a male  country and it starts it was our destiny to be me and you

Answer
Hi Connie!  I'm not sure, but I think you may be looking for Kenny Chesney's "Me and You."  It has the line "Common destiny...We were meant to be...Me and you."  I've included the lyrics for you and a link to the video.  Hope this helps!

Kenny Chesney - "Me and You"

Ordinary no, really don't think so
Not a love this true
Common destiny
We were meant to be
Me and you

Like a perfect scene from a movie screen
We're a dream come true
Suited perfectly for eternity
Me and you

Every day, I need you even more
And the night time too
There's no way
I could ever let you go
Even if I wanted to

Every day I live
Try my best to give
All I have to you
Thank the stars above
That we share this love Me and you

Every day, I need you even more
And the night time too
There's no way
I could ever let you go
Even if I wanted to

Ordinary no, I really don't think so
Just a precious few
Ever make it last
Get as lucky as
Me and you
Me and you
