Question
Someone sang this by themself. It was a female but not the one everyone says.It was about 1982-1984

Answer
The only one I can find is Charly McClain's "Paradise Tonight," a song that she did sing with Mickey Gilley.  I cannot find another version of this song.  Does it have the same lyrics as Charly McClain's version?  If this is not the right version, let me know, and I'll keep looking!  Hope this helps!

"Paradise Tonight" (1983)

Honestly I can’t believe the magic you do
Never seen anything as lovely as you
I was so afraid, I was so alone and blue
I took you in my arms and now I’m going home with you

I gonna wake up in your arms tomorrow
You’re gonna make it the night of my life
I gonna wake up in your arms tomorrow
Thank you for taking me to paradise tonight

I was so afraid, I was so alone and blue
I took you in my arms and now I’m going home with you

I gonna wake up in your arms tomorrow
You’re gonna make it the night of my life
I gonna wake up in your arms tomorrow
Thank you for taking me to paradise tonight

Ooh so this is paradise ooh so this is paradise, paradise all night

I gonna wake up in your arms tomorrow
You’re gonna make it the night of my life
I gonna wake up in your arms tomorrow
Thank you for taking me to paradise tonight

Ooh so this is paradise ooh so this is paradise, paradise all night

I gonna wake up in your arms tomorrow
You’re gonna make it the night of my life
I gonna wake up in your arms tomorrow
Thank you for taking me to paradise tonight

Expertise

I can answer just about any question about lyrics or the artists who recorded the songs--80s and 90s country especially. I don't watch many new videos, but the older the video question, the more likely I am to be able to answer it.

Experience

I've been a country music fan for all of my 20+ years! I somehow have a knack for being able to remember all the words to all the songs (and who sang them for the most part) even though I can't carry a tune to save my life!

Education/Credentials
Juris Doctor. (So if I can't remember an answer off the top of my head, I have the research skills to figure it out!)
