Expert: BethB - 4/21/2009
QuestionI used to here a song on a jukebox around 1977 that I loved but never heard it anywhere else. I love the song but I never knew who performed it or the name of the song! i was hoping you could help me identify it so maybe I could purchase it some where.
The only thing I remember is "With your blouse half swung open and your skirt flying high above your knees. Girl I swear you'll catch a death of cold with all skin blowing in the breeze. Girl your playing with the big boy's don't you know you're just little league" and that's all I remember. I hope you can help me. Thank you!!
AnswerI think the song you're looking for is "Don't Go City Girl on Me," by Tommy Overstreet. This song is on his greatest hits album entitled "The Best." Hope this helps!

DON'T GO CITY GIRL ON ME
(Mike Kosser - Rafe VanHoy)
With your blouse halfway open and your skirt a flappin' high above your knees
I declare you'll catch your death of cold with all that skin a wavin' in the breeze
You're a hot country woman and you sure know how to country please
Pretty woman of the country don't go city girl on me
You've got an eye for Cadillacs and great big stacks of hundred dollar bills
You're like a hound dog chasin' rabbits and each sugar daddy's just another meal
Girl you're playing with the big boys don't you realize that you're just little league
Pretty woman of the country don't go city girl on me
Pretty country woman you got the bright lights in your eyes
But the true love I can give is worth more than all them uptown lights
And that good life you've been looking for you ain't gonna find on city streets
I love you woman of the country so don't go city girl on me
I love you woman of the country so don't go city girl on me
