QUESTION: I heard the song a few times on the radio.  The lead vocalist was a female.  The rendition was haunting.  I never heard who sang this version.  Any ideas?

QUESTION: Sorry, wrong song............I know that one.  It was a remake of the old Sonny James, Young Love.  I should have been more specific.  Does that one help?

That "Young Love" was recorded by the following female singers.....

Lesley Gore
Connie Smith
Stella Parton
Connie Francis
Kate & Anna McGarrigle (with Loudon Wainwright)

There may well have been others, but these are the ones that I know of. Do you think it might be one of those?
