forgot to add this to the previous question. the song has to do with one and being loved by another. he says something like when she hurts she can lay her love on him. I am having a major mental block. Help!
Agian song came out between 1994-1996 by a male artist or band.

I think the song you're thinking of is "You Have the Right To Remain Silent" by Perfect Stranger.  (It was released in 1995.)  Hope this helps!
