ok there is this country song but i dont know what it is called or who it is by. it is about a guy i think sitting on his pickup and this girl drives up and asks him directions and he tells her where to go and something about the best pie and then says something about how to get back to where he is and after she leaves he keeps telling himself i cant believe i let her go or something but at the end of the song she comes back. do you no it?

I think you are looking for "Good Directions".  This song was released by Billy Currington as a single and was written by Luke Bryan.  There is also a version of the song by Luke Bryan, which wasn't released as a single but is featured on his first studio album.
