Question
I can't for the life of me figure out the name of this song that I'm thinking about I can remember the times I've hear it, but that doesn't help me in my search:

Its a male singer.
Premise of the song is always being there for someone, trying to save them from the sadness that they've made for themselves.. Similar to "I turn to you" But the other way around.
I was sure it was rascall flatts or lonestar or someone along those lines... but I've searched all their lyrics and i can't find it.

Answer
Hi Kyla!  I've searched everything I can think of, and the only song I've come up with that sounds similar to your description is Emerson Drive's "Fall Into Me."  Let me know if this isn't the song you're looking for and I'll keep searching!  Hope this helps!

Artist: Emerson Drive
Song: Fall Into Me
Album: Emerson Drive

You say you've turned it off
Hid your heart up on a shelf
Scared of what it might cost
To take it off for someone else
'Cause lovin him you lost
Too much of yourself
Baby can't you see that he's not me and...

I need you to know you can fall into me
That my arms are wide open
And will always be
Right here waiting, staying strong
Come and fall into me

I'll follow any road anywhere to get to you
I'll open up my soul
If that's what you need me to do
But now baby it's your move
All you've got to do
Is believe in love, just believe in us now...

I need you to know you can fall into me
That my arms are wide open
And will always be
Right here waiting, staying strong
Come and fall into me

Just believe in love
Just believe in us
Baby....

I need you to know you can fall into me
That my arms are wide open
And will always be
Right here waiting, staying strong
Come and fall into me

Come and fall into me
Baby fall into me

Expertise

I can answer just about any question about lyrics or the artists who recorded the songs--80s and 90s country especially. I don't watch many new videos, but the older the video question, the more likely I am to be able to answer it.

Experience

I've been a country music fan for all of my 20+ years! I somehow have a knack for being able to remember all the words to all the songs (and who sang them for the most part) even though I can't carry a tune to save my life!

Education/Credentials
Juris Doctor. (So if I can't remember an answer off the top of my head, I have the research skills to figure it out!)
