Question
Fran Bowen was a guest on a Wilburn Brothers show recently on RFD TV. I'm trying to determine the song title.
Some of the lyrics include, "You say I'm getting old and gray...They're just lines from laughter..Don't let this gray hair fool you..but the gray in my hair you put there??
 Any help is appreciated.

Answer
Hi Phillippe!  I've looked everywhere I know to look for information on the Wilburn Brothers Show, and the only thing I found about Fran Bowen on the show was a summary of Season 10, Episode 23, which originally aired Saturday, February 10, 1973.  Here's the summary:

"Doyle and Teddy open with 'Pickin' Up The Mail.' Fran Bowen sings 'Go-Go White.' Don Williams sings his own composition: 'The Shelter Of Your Eyes.' Doyle and Teddy sing 'Making Plans,' from their album: 'Portrait.' Fran Bowen sings 'She Loved All The Love Out Of You.' The Tennesseans perform a brief instrumental number. Doyle and Teddy sing the lovely and touching 'God Bless America Again.' Don Williams closes with 'Amanda.'"

So, I'm guessing that the song you may be looking for is "Go-Go White," but I'm not a hundred percent certain.  I couldn't find anything else on Fran Bowen anywhere!  I wish I had more to give you!  Hope this helps!

I can answer just about any question about lyrics or the artists who recorded the songs--80s and 90s country especially. I don't watch many new videos, but the older the video question, the more likely I am to be able to answer it.

Experience

I've been a country music fan for all of my 20+ years! I somehow have a knack for being able to remember all the words to all the songs (and who sang them for the most part) even though I can't carry a tune to save my life!

Education/Credentials
Juris Doctor. (So if I can't remember an answer off the top of my head, I have the research skills to figure it out!)
