Question
HI there.  There's a funny old song more 1950's I'm guessing, and I am not having any luck internet-searching for the male artist's name.  Can you suggest search sites?  Lyrics are:  There's a light at the end of the tunnel;  I just pray it ain't no train!"  I love that line and can never reference the singer.
Many thanks,
Sharon

Answer
Hi Sharon!  The only song that I could find that matched your lyrics was a song released in 1991 by B.B. Watson called "Light at the End of the Tunnel."  Here is an excerpt from the lyrics (I couldn't find the full lyrics anywhere!):
"Everytime I make ends meet they up and move the ends"
"There's a light at the end of the tunnel
I just hope it ain't no train"

Also, here's a link to his myspace page, which has the song on it for you to listen to.

Hope this helps!

Expertise

I can answer just about any question about lyrics or the artists who recorded the songs--80s and 90s country especially. I don't watch many new videos, but the older the video question, the more likely I am to be able to answer it.

Experience

I've been a country music fan for all of my 20+ years! I somehow have a knack for being able to remember all the words to all the songs (and who sang them for the most part) even though I can't carry a tune to save my life!

Education/Credentials
Juris Doctor. (So if I can't remember an answer off the top of my head, I have the research skills to figure it out!)
