theres a new song out about a kid telling his dad that hes just like him. one part of a verse goes " we both like holding mommy's hand." and the verse is close to "look daddy I'm just like you."

That's a song by Rodney Atkins called "Watching You", from his 2006 album "If You're Going Through Hell".
