hi was wondering if you could possibly help me i have been trying to find out who originally sang this song {if i didnt love you} i know deborah allen sung it in or about 1984 and tanya tucker sang it in 1987 but someone else sang it too all i know it is a woman singer with a unicqe voice i have been searching about 3 weeks for it please if you can help e-mail me at badmoonrising13@yahoo.com thank you.
Don't know if it helps you but as far as I can find...a lot of folks have recorded this song
Barbara Streisand, either a group or a woman named Tina Arena, a group called squeeze,but also Lorrie Morgan (unique female voice there) and steve Warner...not really a female voice

I am a long time fan of Bluegrass and older country/folk music (20-70's) and have a fairly extensive tape and sheet music library of the same and have played the music non-professionally for many years. Please try to make it the older stuff, I don't listen to much "modern" country except George Strait anymore....it ain't got no soul anymore :)

I grew up in the 60's listening to all the old greats and learned to play the music. I have spent a lot of time reading about the genres and have gotten a chance to meet several of the big names over the years.
