Country Music/song from early 90's

QuestionHello, Mel! I wonder if you can remember a song performed by a man with the lyrics:
I wouldn't know, I haven't seen her
I couldn't say, it's been a while
I haven't thought about her lately
So I wouldn't know
I'm getting tired of people asking
Why can't they just leave me alone
I couldn't care, I couldn't say, I wouldn't know
I've googled the heck out of it and find where a few different people have recorded the song, but the artist I'm thinking of was in the early 90's; about the same time as Lisa Stewart released, "Under The Light of the Texaco."
Any ideas?
Thank you!

AnswerHello Laura,
Here's your song.........
I WOULDN'T KNOW
Written by Marc Beeson, Robert Byrne & Michael McGuire
Recorded by:
Andy Childs - 1993
Shenandoah - 1995
Michael Ball - 1995
Reba McEntire - 1998
Damon Gray - 2000
Everyone I see these days
Still ask me about you
I guess they got so used to us together
They assume that everything's OK
Then I have to say
I wouldn't know, I haven't seen her
I couldn't say, it's been a while
I haven't thought about her lately
So I wouldn't know
I'm getting tired of people asking
Why can't they just leave me alone
I couldn't care, I couldn't say, I wouldn't know
I don't get out anymore
To our old stomping ground
'Cos some old friend is bound to ask
Why you're not around
Then I'll just stay away
So I won't have to say
I wouldn't know, I haven't seen her
I couldn't say, it's been a while
I haven't thought about her lately
So I wouldn't know
I'm getting tired of people asking
Why can't they just leave me alone
I couldn't care, I couldn't say, I wouldn't know
Glad to be of help. Cheers......Mel.
