Experience I have been showing cattle for 6 years and have been raising cattle my whole life.
Question I have a miniature Zebu Brahma steer that I have raised from a week old. He was neutered at 1 1/2 years old. He is very friendly and loves attention but every once in a wile he digs his horns in the dirt and jumps around and tires to butt me. He has gotten me down a few times and hurt me.
I care a lot for him but am scared to go in the field with him.
The man that I got him from says "It is not if he will kill him but when he will"
I don't know what to do
HELP!!!

Answer Okay Bill, not to worry. If you are describing this correctly, then all he is doing is trying to play with you. You are his buddy, and he wants to play. All you need to do is take a stick ( like a broom handle or something ) and when he does that, ( not too hard ) pop him on his nose and loudly and firmy say "NO" teach him when you say no, that he is doing something bad and needs to stop. You can pop them on their nose and get their attention pretty easily. Tell the man that you got him from that hes not being aggressive, hes just trying to play. Bill, please send me a follow-up telling me how it goes or if you need more help. If he really is being aggressive, then you need you defend youself just as I told you above. Dont abuse him or over-do it though.
