Subject: pregnant cow won't eat

Question
She hasn't eaten for 2 weeks she has received liquid neomycin she has received all together about 180cc and she still won't eat there is fresh water daily free fed on hay and grain is available. She had her calf this morning and it is very weak but alive.

Answer
Your cow is depressed.  You need to make shure she has fresh food in front of her at all times.  Clear water is also important.  Make shure she has enough room in her pen to walk around.  Make shure she has fresh bedding and a fan if its real hot.  Other then what the vet tells you to do that is realy all.  If she hasn't improved within 3 days let me know.
