I was curious if you could help me with an idea for my early childhood students. I want to use a children's book and do a lesson with the book by using a bag with certain items relating to that book inside to share with the students. For example, for older children you may choose Charlotte's Web and put a fake spider, a ribbon, and farm animals in the bag. I was just wondering if you could think of some interesting children's books that would be good for this project since you are an expert in this area. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your time.
Answer Hello, Heather. I'm sorry I don't have enough time right now to make a list of great children's books for you, but I would like to suggest that you ask the kids to name their favorite books. If you get them involved, you have will much more interest and success, and the project will be far more meaningful. It seems to me that any book would work for this. I LOVE this project idea, by the way. It's like a book report in a baggie. Very nice. Kids will love it too. I also suggest you put a bunch of books in a tub or bin that you think are good, and let the kids choose one they like to illustrate with the baggie fun.
