Crafts - Handmade cards and Personalized tags

Question
Hi.
I want to make some professional looking but handcrafted looking cards. Also, I want to make handcrafted professional "tags" for items that say would say something like "Valerie's Hat" with a string attached to the item. Any suggestions you have would be great.

Answer
Hi Jill,

I'll suggest going to Scrap Girls at www.scrapgirls.com. There you can find card templates and many materials to craft cards and more digitally. You can print the finished products out and they look really beautiful. Plus there's a message board if you need help.

If you are planning on selling these cards or giving them away within a church or school, you'll want to get the commercially licensed products.

All these items begin on your computer, and we generally recommend using Photoshop Elements to start with. Then, you can finish up your creations by hand, but there's less work to do and you'll be able to print your favorite cards over and over.

After printing, make each card unique by adding glitter, or ribbon or other embellishments. There are even tags and more. Hope that helps!
