Crafts - Fabric Transfer paper

Expert: Valerie Randall - 3/11/2009

Question
Hi Valerie-
I just purchased fabric transfer paper by Avery. It states that it is for Inkjet printers. I realized after I purchased it that I only have access to a Laserjet printer. Will the transfer not work if I use my printer? Is there special paper that will work with my laserjet?
Thanks.

Answer
Hi Stacy,

I don't know enough about it, so I simply Googled "Fabric transfer paper Laserjet" and many options came up. It looks like there is paper created specifically for a laserjet printer.

I would not try using what you have in the Laserjet printer. It could cause permanent damage.

I'm sure if you Google what you need, you'll find a source near you for the correct paper. Good luck!

Valerie
