Crafts/Adhering items to candles

Question
I'm not sure this question is in your expertise, but what would you suggest using to adhere crystals to candles?  This will be a unity candle project.  It will not burn long enough to melt the sides.  I've tried the crystal adhesive and it will not stick to the wax candle.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks, Lori

Answer
Dear Lori - I have not actually used this for decorating candles, but I have used this product.  It is quite sticky and should hold the crystals in place.  It is used to hold candles in place as well as holding miniatures down in dollhouses or to keep small items from falling from a shelf.  For the use you need, try a teeny-tiny bit.  A pea-sized portion as suggested would be far too much to look nice.  You would probably have the best luck with point-back crystals, however this should work for flat-backs too.  Limit handling of the candles as this is not a permanent solution.  Try a toothpick to apply.  This is great stuff to have around!  If this suggestion does not suit your needs, feel free to contact me again.
