Question
I am 18 and a year ago I was hit by a drunk driver. I have a condition called PTSD and one of the big things to do if art and crafts because it helps with parts of the brain that I injured in my accident. I love doing any types of crafts. I was wondering if you had any ideas on crafts. I have a lot of supplies, I just need new ideas. I am checking out your website to see what I can find. Any projects you have would be helpful!

Answer
Kim, I'm so sorry to hear about your accident. But good for you to be working to make things better.

My expertise is in art of the exploration and free type (free and unique outcome), and not so much crafts (which follow directions and have planned outcomes). I think you will find plenty of ideas on my website to get you started. If you wish more art ideas, I particularly recommend one of my books called "Discovering Great Artists" --- doing art in the styles of the great masters. I would think that would be really good for your brain!

You don't NEED the book...just a suggestion. There are so many projects on the internet for free.

I wish you the best of luck with your healing and improvement. Maybe you can be an art teacher some day when this is all over.
