Crafts/candle glue

Question
I am looking to glue wax dots on a wax candle .we tried to welsd the fote on using heat with bad results . I am looking for a glue to use, that will burn safely and hold tight . A friend of mine sent me you e-mail as the expert candle advice giver so I though I would see if you had any good ideas on the subject.

Dear Tim - I suggest you use STICKY WAX.  It is available in stores that sell candles or dollhouse supplies.  It is widely used to adhere candles to thier holders or to secure tiny objects to a surface in a dollhouse.  I found mine in a craft store in a great little tin.  Use a very small amount.  I found the site below.  It refers to use as an adhesive for wax to wax.  Try it out!
