Question
Hi, I've been looking for the right software to design wrapping paper and wall paper.  I want to start designing for companies and want it to look professional.  Also how do I go about finding companies that use freelance designers?

Hi Sherba,

I use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS2. I am not aware of any other programs on the market, those are the standards in the industry that I work within. As far as finding companies, that requires time. Begin with the companies you are interested in and send letters of inquiry. There are books like Artist's Market that are published every year with detailed info of what materials they want to see, and who to contact.
