Crafts/faux gold-leafing of photos

Question
Hi:
I've seen photos and esp. holiday pictures enhanced with a layer of what I think is some sort of fake gold leaf.  I'd like to try this. Do you know what I'm talking about?  Please explain the process if you're able.

Thank you!

Ian

Answer
Ian:

Is this perhaps a gold-leaf pen or is it textured? There are "foil" pens that apply "liquid" gold, silver or copper onto surfaces, some of which are safe for scrapbooking. I have seen this process. As for "fake gold leaf", if you mean a textured process, I have not seen that...

Thanks.
