QUESTION: In December 2006 I filed a chapter7 and it was dismissed
in January 2007. My credit has been affected by this.
It is being treated as a valid bankruptcy. how can have
it removed to improve my credit and fico score?

Since it was dismissed I have paid up my accounts.

taking 2 steps will greatly increase your score.

1. Go to www.financialscoringsolutions.com and register

2. Replace deleted negative items with current items that maximize the FICO score.  These include:

Major Bank or Credit Union CD loans.  Try 3 if possible.
2-3 Major Bank secured credit cards.
Keep 5% or less utilization ratio.
No credit inquires unless you'll be approved.
