Question
my wife was convicted of writting bad checks and was sentenced to Arkansas State Department of Corrections.  She served three years and was released 14 years ago.  Will this affect filing for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy??  If so, how and what can be done?

Answer
Hi Jerry,

I am not an attorney, I help people quickly raise their credit scores.  With that said, I have never seen any of my clients unable to file bankruptcy due to a criminal history.  I think she'll be fine.

If you would like to have a great credit score after the BK let me know and I can shoe you how.
