Question
I filled chapter 13 and paid everything off.I had a car loan listed in the chapter 13.Chapter 13 was discharged in 2006.On feb. 15th 2009 checked my credit report. The finance co. that had my car loan and was paid off in full has put on my trw that i still owe 4275$ and that 4221$ is a charge off.Is this legal? what can i do?

Answer
Any amount that the original loan was compromised by can be reported as a charge off for 7 years.  I'm guessing that is the case with this.
The best chance at helping is by doing what I would recommend to anyone after BK.  Get some help working to remove all the negative BK stuff from your credit reports.

Many of my clients see a 700+ plus score shortly after BK by taking a few simple steps.  Check out www.financialscoringsolutions.com to start.
