Question
Hi,  I am in the process of filing for bankruptcy in the next couple of weeks unfortuantely due to mismanagement of credit.  I want to know what I am looking at going forward in terms of a new and/or used car loans: Realistic interest rates in the chicagoland area. How Soon I Would  Be Able To qualify after discharge, credit unions??? etc. Thanks in Advance.

Answer
Reg,

With proper steps you can qualify for a good rate within a short time.  These are the important steps:

1.  Remove negative credit with www.financialscoringsolutions.com (this is your best bet especially if you need a car loan right away)
2.  Add some new trade lines...Secured cards...Installment loans
( combining these 2 steps will have a huge impact in about a year)

Feel free to call me if you have questions.  I don't mind.
