Question
I took the buy out from Chrysler and left work in Jan 30th of this year. I had a chapter 13 case going prior to me leaving Chrysler. I am waiting for the trustee to send me a pay off letter as to how much I am looking at paying all together. My question is can I after being off work since Jan 30th with no job just unemployment can I change over to chapter 7?

Answer
James,

I am not an expert in Bankruptcy, you should probably ask an attorney.  What I can tell you is that 80% of all chapter 13 bankruptcies convert to a 7.

My specialty is helping you recover quickly from the BK.  With proper steps you can have a 700+ score within 1-2 years after your discharge.  Feel free to call me if you want to learn how to do that.
