Question My husband and I filed Chap 13 BK in Nov 2004. It was dismissed in Sept 2006. We never refiled because we were able to manage our bills by that point. We figured everyone would come calling for their money but the credit card companies never did. Until this April when we received a collection letter. So, does the SOL include the time the debt was in BK? If so, AZ SOL is three years, has it legally expired? If not, would it be Sept 2009?

AZ Sol is 6 years ARS Ann. 12-548. Yes it includes the time the debt was in BK, it will expire Nov 2010.
