this exact thing happened on 4th day of nagpur test where trott was allowed to score runs by dharmsena off ravindra jadeja after ball bouncing more than twice . But according to cricket companion, in law 24.6 it as been written it should be given no ball and immediately call dead ball to avoid batsman from scoring.
