QUESTION: exactly sir i cannot understand the word "140 yard Square" ?

Answer
hi

140 yard sqaure means if you start measuring then from one side of the ground to other side of the ground which passes through the center of the pitch, so that the boundary distance from this end to the other end should be minimum 140 yards.
if u are using center pitch in the square then it may come 70 yards a side, if u r using the other pitches like 2nd or 3rd pitches then it may varry on side distance but the one side should be a minimum of 50 yards and other side a maximum of 90 yards
