Question I have been incarcerated for a year and a half I only have three years to serve.I was recently sent to the diagnosis center how long does it take to recieve a parole month or release date?
Answer Unfortunately, there is no simple answer. Sometimes, it can happen within a couple of weeks and sometimes it can take longer. The system is sometimes over loaded and that can cause a backlog. If it takes more then about a month or two, I would just write a letter to inquire the status. Sometimes, paperwork does get lost. Asking about it can be a good reminder.
