Question
It all started when my car was impounded by the police. the one driving it was my exbf who borrowed it to go back to his employer. he was accused of theft but he did not know that. when he went back to his employer, the police was waiting for him but he ran away from them. he is now in hiding and the car that he used was impounded by the police.  2 days ago, i spoke with the police and they said i can claim the car already. i went there to claim it but they framed me and arrested me instead. i stayed in the cell for 28 hours before i was bailed out by my aunt. i found out that my exbf forged checks using his employer's checks. before, when he did not have a checking account, most of his checks were written under my name. 2 of those checks that i cashed were not authorized by his employer. i accepted those checks worth $800 in good faith because i thought they were authorzed by the employer. apparently, my exbf forged checks worth $17000. now i am accused of conspiracy, grand theft, forging checks, and abuse to elder. the detective said in order to drop the charges against me, my ex has to show up at the police station and tell him that i have nothing to do with this. now, my ex is in hiding. i want to clear my name and hired a lawyer for my court date on sept 4. the car is still impounded and the detective mentioned they found a "baggy" with residue of cocaine or methamphethamine. the car is under my name.

my question is, how will this look in court? i am innocent of everything. please advise.

You need to hire a criminal defence lawyer.
Its not going to be cheap or short in time to get this resolved. There really not much I can tell you.
Your facing serious felony charges.
It would be very odd to explain why his pay checks are made out to you. You are responciable for the baggy in your car.
