I was recently charged with the above by warrant. I cooperated with the CHP "California Highway Patrol" when they came and asked me how a 300 "vehicle" was on my property. Which it wasn't. It was parked in front of another person's home and I did not know anything about the car. Although I did know the person the car was parked in front of house, I did not anything about a crime. This is the truth. I even let them come on my property and look around, twice! Now I've been arrested, had to post bail, and have court coming up on this. Can the CHP do this? This property the car was on was not leased to me, nor is owned by me. I do have a prior record from 7 years ago for a different felony, but have been gainfully employeed and run a straight and narrow life with my girl our kids.

hi tim,
 now i am confused too.  you need to get a copy of the police report to see exactly what they are saying you did.  if the car was not on your property, how did they come to your house?    what did you cooperate with them on?  and whose car was it anyway?  see if those questions are answered in the report.  your past history will have a little to do with it, so consider bringing character witnesses to show your changed ways.
