Crime & Law Enforcement Issues & Death Penalty/Warrants

Question
How do you go about getting a warrant lifted when someone is in jail.

Answer
Not sure what specifically you are asking but a warrrant is an order by a judge to arrest someone for a specific charge. If they were arrested for the warrant you are asking about then the warrant will no longer exist. If they are in jail on another charge, the jail should check for any warrants before they are released and if they discover a warrant then they will hold them on that charge also.

If you are talking about getting charges dropped on someone, the only person who can do that is the prosecutor or the judge.
