ok so my boyfriend is 19 and i am 16.
we have been together about 6 months but my parents only know about 2 of the 6 months, and we just recently started having sex, so there was no pressure to do it.
well my father just recently found out that he was 19 and threatened that he was going to press charges against him. i understand his concern but he dosent understand that i was willing. i heard that if there was a 3 year age difference that it was ok. but i also heard since i am under the age of 17 that my boyfriend can go to jail. i have feelings for him..a lot..and i don't want to see that happen to him. i have been through his before and i know that caring for the person and me being willing to have sex with him makes a difference. i don't want to go through it again. Is it possible to press charges against him if i was willing and still have feelings for him?? and if not is it possible for my father to get a restraining order against my boyfriend if i don't want it..and if i go to him first??
Actually in 18 states your not old to give consent even if you willing. If your in one of those states he could be charged with rape. The the first question is what state are you in?
Your dad might be able could get a restraining order as your a minor.
