Question
Is probation rules same for Felony (1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree sexual assault) and misdemeanor (4th degree sexual assault)?

Answer
Brian,

Probation is court ordered supervision and it is only generally referred to in statute.  The court has several variables that they can impose for any of the degrees of CSC.  So basically, yes they can be the same and yes, they can be different.  A lot of it is case specific.  There is also the issue of Sex offender status and the reporting and requirments of that.

Hope it helped
