Question
if someone has sex with minor gets arrested and goes through trial. if they are found guilty will there be a way for them not to have to register as an ofender?

Answer
Jess,

Almost impossible for me to answer. Each state has its own guidelines and laws as to who must register as a sex offender. Variables such as the age difference between the two, age of the suspect, what sex act is involved and what the final charge is are all factors that could be involved. Your best source will be the attorney representing the person arrested.

Sorry i couldn't be more specific

Good luck
