Question
IS there a time limitation on a misdemeanor bench warrant?

Answer
Deb,

Currently the answer is no, however there have been some recent cases that show the government has an obligation to make an effort to serve the warrant. the weight begins shifting from the suspect to the government after about 2 years.  It will be determined on a case by case basis.

Hope this helped
