hey my names davis, i'm just wondering the rules for VA my girlfriend is 15 and i'm turning 18. her mom keeps saying that shes going to put me in jail or sue me, can she really do that?

I don't know all 50 states however in most states under 16 is still a juvenile and therefore are under the control of their parents.       
    You could fall under one of the following,contributing to delinquency of minor, if their is sex involved including just touching you could be looking at a sex crime conviction of which could involve reporting for several years as a sex offender.
   I suggest you heed the mothers warnings and play it very cool for awhile.  Do some Internet searching for VA you should be able to find out when the age of consent is for VA, 16,17 or 18.
