Question
I had a bench warrant out which i new nothing about. It all had to lead back to 12-22-01.The bench warrant was for Failure to Appear on 4-13-03.I wanted to know if the Statue of Limitations would apply to this.

Answer
Christa,

Sorry no,  statute of limitations does not involve warrants.  quite a while for a bench warrant to stay active.  There has been some recent cases involving the governments obligation to serve warrants but nothing that has really changed it.  Your only course at this time is to consult with an attorney and get the situation taken care of.

Sorry i couldn't help more
