Question
I haven't gotten into any trouble but I'm curious can I be arrested even though i have paid these checks. Nothing has ever been over 180. I would write a check untilpay day which is normally 3 days later or so and get a nsf but it would be paid once my direct deposit from work hit. I wrote a check again but had a change of heart and did not take the money otu so I will only get the nsf and not owe the bank. since they arre not in arears, would this be something to get convicted for or at the most if they want to discontinue service.

Answer
Ashame,

What you are doing is a transaction referred to check kiting.  It use to be a lot more prevalent but with the advent of electronic transaction it is not done as often.  Since there is no loss in the transactions you do for yourself, it would probably not be illegal let alone prosecuted.  You going to report yourself for NSF check ??  However the bank could get tired of the increase book work and cancel your account.

Hope this helped
