Question i received a ticket for trespassing, but on the ticket the officer put the time down as 12:30am, when the time was actually after 1:30am
is there a way to get by this in court?
Answer Sara,
Sorry it really is not an issue, the officer can very easily amend the information in court. What is important is what the officer testifies to. It may only be an issue if the time is a critical fact in the trespass. Would it still have been trespass if it occurred at 1:30 am as well as 12:30 am ?? probably, so there is no issue.
