Question
Our loved one was sentenced and was give a suspended sentence with probation. Only they did not relese him. They moved him to detention center in monroe la. this eas after he served 6 months.
awaiting his release that night We found that he had been moved. We have contacted the public defender and prosecuting atty. We cannot get a return call from ethier. What does one do in this situation. Thank you for you attention in this matter

It sounds like that even though he received a suspended sentence on whatever charge he was in court for that he was also wanted in another jurisdiction on another charge.  Surely the state of Louisiana must have an inmate locater system that you could access.  If that does not work what about simply driving to the jail where he was last incarcerated and asking where he was moved to?

Worked in the patrol division as well as over 14 years in the detective bureau. I am very knowledgeable about search and seizure and taught at the police academy for several years on a variety of subjects. I can answer questions that a lot of attorneys cannot since they do not have "street experience".

Bachelor of Science degree in Criminolgy from the University of Maryland.
