How many people can get charged with a possession charge for the same drugs. There was 3 Grams of weed on a table with 6 people sitting around it and 6 people went to jail for three grams of weed whose getting charged?

Obviously all of them could be charged however these situation are fact specific. What did the officers see ? What were they told ? is there other evidence linking the persons to the contraband ? I am also surprised that they lodged 6 people for 3 grams, a lot of jurisdictions this would be handled by a citation. Most prosecutors are going to want more individually specific information or facts to charge based on this.
